Bought at Sun N Fun, 2 years ago. after 1 year the covering was mostly gone and cardboard edges showing all around. Returned to the Sun N Fun booth and was told "no warrenty" on case year but for a discount I could buy another, so I did, that one too started to wear immediately. It looks like leather but there is some thin vinyl covering that wears off quickly. Leather cover would be more durable?

The folio is leather and well made. But it is made in China so you have to keep it in mind. I wish the pen holder had been attached for you because it is a pain.

If I could offer a suggestion of offering various inserts to customize your folio with pockets, three ring binding adhesive to the center that would allow you to use pocket inserts and page protectors.

This is the best setup I’ve worked with. Have used the folio for the last six years. Only problem I’ve had are plastic clips which hold the iPad broke, but I’m told replacements are available. The aluminum clipboard holds a note pad and is printed full of otherwise hard to find info. (Only wish it had a Celsius to Fahrenheit scale.) Nice loop on top of clipboard holds my CO2 monitor. I find it’s comfortable to wear for long flights. Overall, 5+ stars.

My iPad Air (10.5") fits perfectly into the case, and the case fits perfectly into my PLC Sport bag. The case showed minor wear out of the box on the edge of the synthetic leather magnetic strap, but that is a not an issue. The case is made of nice materials that feel good in the hand and it feels secure strapped to my leg. If the case gets in the way of a yoke while strapped to your leg just rotate it out of the way and it still remains open but secure. I do not find the strap to be a hindrance.

This product is great, except when you aren't flying the strap is always in the way and there is no good way to deal with it. It doesn't remove very easily and there's no place to put it. When you are flying however, it's awesome. Thoroughly recommend it.

Thank you Mr. Wilson, Sorry for the problem. The strap can be folded onto iteself for storage. It can also be wrapped around the folio to keep the folio and ipad secure, just attach the ends. Call or email us if you have more questions.
