Flex Bolted Threaded Rod

Product Description
  • Base: 1/4-20 threaded stud fits in any existing 1/4" hole. Included stainless steel fender provide support when used with thin materials.
  • Arm: Standard flex arm - 10.5".
  • Adapter: Includes proprietary quick release adapter that is compatible with all device holders made by MyGoFlight.

Utilize existing holes in the cockpit with the Flex Bolted Threaded Rod. Any 1/4" hole can be a mounting point by inserting the 1/4-20 threaded stud and securing with the included washers and wing nut. This mount is prefect for tight spaces where a mounting base will not fit. If the mounting hole is not threaded 1/4-20, you will need rear access to the mounting point to secure the wing nut.

A: The stud measures 5/8" long.

Q: Can I remove a screw and replace it with this mount?

A: we recommend using this mount only with pre-existing holes that are not in use.

Q: Does this mount require certification?

A: The installation of this mount is considered a minor modification at most. We recommend installation by an A&P with a corresponding log book entry.

Q: Can I use this mount if I don't have an existing 1/4" hole?

A: Yes, the mount can be mounted using a 1/4" hole that has been added. We recommend working with your A&P for this type of installation.
