The Universal Cradle clips won't fit my Samsung tablet in its protective case. They are too small to fit the thickness of the case.
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Your cradle came with longer clips that can be swapped out to accommodate thicker tablets or tablets in cases such as yours. You simply can unscrew the 4 clips with a 1.5mm allen key and replace them with the longer clips.
Please let me know if you cannot locate the longer clips and we can get a replacement set out to you.
Thank you,
Great concept, but the main pivot in the center doesnt seem to have a way to tighten. It rotates in flight frome the engine vibrations. If that could be resolved, it would be perfect!
Hello,
If you are exeriencing rotation of the iPad in flight there may be an issue with the rubber gasket that is found on the inside of the adapter on the cradle. It may be too thin and is allowing rotation. We can send you replacement gaskets that should fix this issue. Please email support@mygoflight.com to get started. Thank you,
This was a great fit for my iPad 11 (A16) with a thin protective case. It even includes larger “arms” for a more rugged case.
Greetings, MYGOFLIGHT team!
Our airline has been using your product (Sport - Universal Cradle MNT-1610)
for 8 months to mount iPads in the cockpits of our aircraft.
During this time, we noticed that sometimes chips appear on the edges of the iPad's protective glass at the attachment points, which later develop as cracks in the protective glass.
After conducting some study of these cases, we concluded that the cause of
glass damage is high contact stresses that occur when touching the rib formed by the inner and outer side faces of the holder (Figure 2) and the edge of the protective glass during the installation and dismantling of the iPad.
To improve your product (MYGOFLIGHT), we suggest applying some
changes to the design of the holders:
1) chamfer between the inner and side faces (figure 3);
2) Spread the protective coating (currently applied only to the inner surface) to the surface of the chamfers (Figure 4).
Best regards,
Sergii Nechaev
Super expensive for the piece of aluminum that it is. The "grippers" in the corners are forever coming loose so they are never facing the direction that you want them to. No idea why they aren't fixed in place.
