Nice but expensive.

I’m 6’3” 220 and this works great in a C310. Used with an IPad 8 Gen. I was concerned about the iPad hitting my legs. Non issue. Works and looks great.....compliments my flying style!

I am an instructor in a larger flying club and fly different planes all the time and I own a Citabria. I am able to move the flex yoke mount for my Ipad mini from plane to plane with complete flexibility. Plus the mount stays in place during aerobatic maneuvers. It is rock solid and easy to adjust with just the one joint. There are two cons to the system but the pros far outweigh the cons. It is a bit expensive (But worth it compared to others) and the clamping lever is two hard to unclamp. If it would be possible to redesign the lever so that it is easier to get a finger underneath the lever to release, that would be my only improvement.

I have a big box full of RAM mount parts that I've used over the last couple years. They work but I have found them to be bulky and much less versatile with placement of iPad. The mygoflight mount is incredible as far as literally being unlimited with placement. I can place that iPad anywhere I want it on or around that yoke and it's very solid.

The only reason for 4 star (rather than 5) was the first mount I received was defective. There was rotation due to some internal plastic "teeth" being sheared off. I find that 95% of the product is built like a rock with precision machining. It certainly feels and looks like it's worthy of the premium price tag. Unfortunately there are a couple places in the design that still utilize plastic and therefor will be the weak points.

When I noted the defect I contacted the company and I was sent a replacement that arrived two days later (outstanding support!!!) with a prepaid label to send back the defective one.

Overall the product is an A+. I would recommend to anyone that gets a little irritated by the limited mobility and bulkiness of be RAM mounts. This is a far superior product that cleans up my pilot area.

I use this for my iPad mini 4 on a Cessna 172 works great!
