“I received the new MGF iPad mount, and I used it this weekend on a flight out to the Hidden Splendor backcountry strip near Hanksville, UT. We also landed at Factory Butte, Dirty Devil, Happy Canyon, Angel Point, and Mineral Bottom.

I love the new mounting arm. I would say that it is significantly better for my application than the original one I’d purchased with the longer arms. Because of the shorter lever arm, it feels even more solid, and the vibration from the engine and the propeller was much less noticeable when reading the iPad screen. I also really like that it feels solid, like it’s truly an aviation instrument, not just a cheap bracket.
